The Megger DCM1500S clamp is ideal for use in the installation, maintenance, monitoring and testing of photovoltaic systems as well as AC and DC electrical equipment.

The clamp features a large, clear backlit display and an automatic torch on the clamp to assist in areas where lighting is poor. In addition to the standard 4 mm cables such as the new high voltage DC cable sets PVHV1 (4 mm) and PVHV2 (MC4PV).

The clamp allows remote monitoring via its integrated Bluetooth® connection with the Megger Link app, providing a real-time trend graph, which also allows samples to be taken and values to be recorded for later analysis.

The intelligent data hold function extends the standard hold function by alerting the operator with an audible warning if the "held" reading rises above 50 counts or more. Minimum or maximum hold allows the maximum and minimum values to be measured over a period of time, and each value can be selected in turn.

Other features include a high-frequency suppression filter, inrush current measurement, internal data logging, a non-contact voltage search mode and manual CCA ampere zeroing.In addition to measuring voltage and current, the DCM1500S can measure resistance, diodes, capacitance, temperature and frequency.The DCM1500S is safety rated to IEC 61010-1, IEC/EN61010-2-033 CAT IV 600V, and CAT III 1000V.
